Right-Click a note to change the setting. As each samplehas an original pitch, FL Studio needs to know what key should play at this pitch. All other pitches are generated by changing sample's speed (and so pitch) or using Pitch Shifting, setting the root key higher will cause a given key to sound lower in pitch. FL Studio's Piano roll also makes it really easy to pick a scale. Just click the Stamp button in the Piano roll, and select the scale you want to use for your track. Then, click the root note position in the Piano roll to stamp the scale there. I like to extend the scale ghost notes out a few bars and cover at least 3 octaves of notes. Setting up Fire with FL Studio: Note: MIDI does not transmit audio; it sends MIDI note and control data (knob movements, sound/program changes). Use the included USB cable to connect Fire's USB port to an available USB port on your computer (powered on). On your computer, open FL Studio.

A public beta version of the template editor for the ReMOTE SL MK2 (and ZeRO SL MK2) is now available form the Novation beta site.
